How Verification Works
Complete one of the forms below, or email us at info@newyorkcomputerforensics.com.
We will email you at the address provided to confirm your identity before processing the request. For CCPA requests, we verify identity to a "reasonable degree of certainty" based on the information you provide. For higher-sensitivity requests such as deletion, we may ask for additional verification.
After verification, we locate and process your data within the applicable timeline. We will notify you if any exceptions apply, for example if data must be retained for a legal obligation.
We will send you a written response confirming the action taken. For data access requests, we will provide your data in a structured, portable format.
GDPR Rights (EEA and UK Residents)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR grants you the following rights regarding your personal data held by New York Computer Forensics and its parent organization Global Digital Forensics.
We respond to verified GDPR requests within 30 calendar days. We may extend this by a further two months for complex or numerous requests, with written notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
CCPA/CPRA Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) grants you the following rights regarding your personal information held by New York Computer Forensics.
We respond to verified CCPA requests within 45 calendar days. We may extend by an additional 45 days with written notice. NYCF will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may submit requests up to twice in a 12-month period.
